Lifestyle – Beauty conferences I hope to attend in the future

Hello everyone,

Welcome back to my blog and welcome if its your first time visiting it ❤️

Since I’ve never attended to a beauty conference, I wanted to share with you my list of conferences I would like to go.

When I was living in Toronto, I didn’t have the opportunity to attend to one of these conferences and, in Venezuela, we don’t have those kinds of beauty shows.

I think beauty conferences are amazing, because it is an opportunity to learn new things and, also, to meet your favourite youtubers and makeup artists.

Here it is my list of beauty conferences I hope to attend in the future.

Generation Beauty is an event presented by Ipsy, and it is the right place to get inspired by beauty gurus and your favourite brands.

This year, this show is going to be in San Francisco, CA and it starts today November 4, and also you can go tomorrow Saturday 5.

Desi Perkins, LustreLux, Christen Dominique and Gabriel Zamora are some of the youtubers who are are going to attend to this event.

StyleCon is the perfect event that brings together to fashion and beauty lovers. You can meet there some expert and influencers in hair, makeup and nails, and also meet some your favourite bloggers and youtubers.

Their next event is tomorrow November 5 in New York City.

This is the International Make-up Artist Trade Show.

At IMATS, makeup artists from fashion and film are in charge to teach and do demonstrations and, also, many new products debut there. So, this is the right place where you can learn how to transform beauty with makeup.

Makeup – My go to makeup look for work events

Hello Hello,

Since I’m very busy, I decided to keep writing on my blog just twice per week. I started again school this week (I already mentioned that on my last post), but I’m preparing amazing things for you.

This week, for my makeup look, I was inspired on a Youtuber. I don’t remember her name, but she has a video called “my go to makeup look for fall” and It is almost exactly the makeup I wear when I have work events. So, I thought it was going to be a good idea to show you my go to makeup look for work events.

This look is very easy to do and very pretty. It just about nude and brown tones on my eyes plus a bold color lip.

Makeup – Bye Bye Summer

Hello everyone,

This is my last makeup for summer and with this color hair 😦 I’ve been so busy, working and working, and I’m trying very hard to keep writing for you, because it’s my passion and there are a lot of things that I want to share with you.

Anyway, fall is about to start, so I wanted to create my last makeup for summer for this year, and even when I live in Venezuela, trends also change, so this look is also perfect for fall. Besides, this pictures are from last Tuesday, and I changed my hair color yesterday (Thursday), so I’m looking forward to show you my new look (I hope this weekend). Apart, you can follow me on my snapchat (user: pattylugov), I shared yesterday my new look there.

Also, I’m trying to change my background to change just a little bit, but I don’t know exactly where I really want to take now my pictures.

This is a pretty look and you can wear it for both day and night.

Bye bye Verano

Hola a todos,

Este es mi último maquillaje para el verano y con este color de cabello 😦 He estado súper ocupada, trabajando y trabajando, y estoy haciendo todo lo posible para seguir escribiendo para ustedes. Mi blog es mi pasión y tengo muchísimas cosas que quiero compartir con ustedes.

Entrando en detalles sobre este maquillaje… El otoño ya casi comienza, y aunque sea de Venezuela, igual las tendencias cambian, por lo que quise hacerles este maquillaje de verano, pero también perfecto para entrar en la nueva temporada. Asimismo, estas fotos son del martes, y ayer (jueves) me pinté el cabello, así que estoy súper emocionadas por mostrarles mi nuevo color (espero que sea esta semana). Igual puedes seguirme por snapchat (user: pattylugov), les había compartido por esa vía mi nuevo look.

Además, estoy tratando de cambiar un poco el background de mis fotos para cambiar un poco, pero aún no se exactamente que es lo que quiero.

Este look de la semana es perfecto tanto de día como para la noche.

Makeup – Pre-Fall look

Hello everyone,

These days have been very busy, but I’m happy to be back. There’s a lot going on, I’ll tell you later. But, today I really wanted to share my makeup of the week.

Since it’s almost September, and summer is almost gone (not yet), I really wanted to do some pre-fall makeup, a cut crease with bold lips. And, Actually, I chose two lip colours, one pink and other purple. The first one is more Summer, but the purple is very pretty for fall.

Also, I think the look with pink is perfect for day, I actually used it yesterday. However, the look with purple lips is for night.

Maquillaje Pre-Otoño

Hola a todos,

He estado súper ocupada estos días, pero estoy feliz de estar de regreso. Hay muchísimas cosas pasando, pero les contaré después. Hoy quiero mostrarles mi maquillaje de la semana.

Ya casi es septiembre, y el verano casi se acaba (no todavía), quería hacer un maquillaje pre-otoño, un cut crease con labios fuertes, e incluso, escogí dos tonos para los labios, uno rosado y el otro morado. El primero porque más verano, pero el morado es súper lindo para el otoño.

El primer look con labios rosados es perfecto para el día, incluso lo use ayer; sin embargo, el look con los labios morados es para la noche.

Beauty – Let’s talk about eyelashes!

If you ever ask me which is my favourite characteristic of my face, I would say my eyelashes… And the truth is that every makeup is never completely done without mascara (and brows, of course!)

Today I wanted to talk about eyelashes, what I use, tips and favourite products. Keep reading and I hope you enjoy this post.

Hablemos de pestañas

Si alguna vez me preguntan cuál es mi característica favorita en mi rostro, diría mis pestañas una y mil veces… Y la verdad es que un maquillaje nunca está completamente terminado sin mascara (y cejas, ¡por supuesto!)

Hoy les quiero hablar sobre pestañas, lo que uso, tips y productos favoritos. Continúa leyendo y espero disfruten este port.

Favourite Mascaras / Mascaras favoritas

– Rimmel LondonWonder’Lash (003 extream black) – Rimmel London Scandal Eyes – Rockin’ Curves in 001 Black – Rimmel London Lift Me Up mascara with vitamins and cucumber

My lashes are naturally long, so that’s the reason why I only wear mascara the most of the time.

My favourite brand on mascara so far is Rimmel London. Their prices are really good, the quality is amazing and they make my lashes look very long and thicker. Also, I like Maybelline, but if you want a high end product, I would recommend the Too Faced “Better than sex” mascara, and that’s thanks to NikkieTutorials.

Mis pestañas son largas naturalmente, razón por la que solo uso mascara la mayoría la mayor parte del tiempo.

Mi marca favorita hasta ahora es Rimmel London. Sus precios son súper buenos, su calidad es increíble y hacen que mis pestañas se vean largas y mucho más gruesas. También, me gusta Maybelline, pero si quiere un producto de alta gama, les recomendaría “Better than sex” de Too Faced, y eso gracias a NikkieTutorials. 

Eyelash Curler / Rizador de pestañas

If there is something that is going to make lift your lashes up, that’s the eyelash curler. Just apply it before the mascara to make your lashes look longer.

Si hay algo que puede ayudarte a levantar tus pestañas, ese es el rizador. Solo aplícalo antes de aplicar mascara para hacer que tus pestañas se vean más largas.

Falsies / Pestañas postizas

False eyelashes are perfect for me for my makeup look, but not for my daily makeup. Also, I could wear them for a special occasion and they really can make a big difference.

There are some falsies that I like and you can wear them everyday if your natural eyelashes are very short. My favourites are Ardell eyelashes and apply them with the duo eyelash adhesive, it’s one of the best products.

Las pestañas postizas son perfectas para mis looks de maquillaje, pero no para mi maquillaje diario. Además, las podría usar para alguna ocasión especial y realmente hacen una gran diferencia.

Hay algunas postizas que me gustan que se pueden usar a diario, solo en el caso de que tus pestañas naturales sean muy cortas. Mis favoritas en este caso son las Ardell y la puedes aplicar con el adhesivo para pestañas de Duo, es uno de los mejores productos del mercado.

Home Remedies / Remedios Caseros

This home remedie is pretty good not only for eyelashes, but for eyebrows too.

Este remedio casero no es solamente bueno para las pestañas, sino para las cejas también.

Ingredients / Ingredientes:

– Castor Oil / Aceite de Ricino
-Coconut Oil / Aceite de Coco 
-Small Traveling Container / Recipiente pequeño de viaje

Fill the small container with half of castor oil and half of coconut oil, close it and shake it. Apply the mix over the lashes with cotton swabs and massage the area. Sleep over the night with it and remove it with water in the morning. After a few days repeating the process everyday, say hello to long lashes.

Llena el recipiente con mitad de aceite de ricino y mitad de aceite del coco, ciérralo y bátelo. Aplica la mezcla sobre las pestañas con hisopos y da masajes en el área. Déjalo actuar durante toda la noche y retíralo con agua en la mañana siguiente. Después de unos días repitiendo el proceso todos los días, dile hola a tus nuevas pestañas largas.

I really hope you’re fine. Today is my “makeup friday“, so I wanted to show you my makeup look for this week. It’s a beautiful smokey eyes with pink and matte nude lips.

I think this kind of makeup is perfect for night, for a dinner or for a party, but actually you can do it softer for a day look.

I used four colours for my eyes: pink, brown, black and pearl. 👑

Ojos Ahumados Rosa + Labios Nude

Espero se encuentren muy bien. Hoy es mi “viernes de maquillaje“, así que les mostraré mi maquillaje de la semana. Se trata de un hermoso estilo ahumado con un poco de rosado y labios nude en matte.

Pienso que este tipo de maquillaje es perfecto para la noche, ya sea para una cena importante o para una fiesta, pero lo puedes hacer más suave para un look de día.

Usé cuatro colores para los ojos: rosado, marrón, negro y perla. 👑

Makeup – Golden Summer Night

Hello 🙂

Today, I bring for you a night makeup. I wanted something very dramatic and that’s the reason why I did a cut crease style with gold – I hadn’t done any golden makeup for a while, so I’m happy with how it resulted.

I have a new camera – Canon Rebel T3 – It’s my first professional camera and I’ve been learning how to use it at school, but I can’t control it yet very well, the camera control me 😂

Maquillaje Dorado para una Noche de Verano

Hola 🙂

Hoy les traigo un maquillaje de noche. Quería algo bastante dramático y esa es la razón por la que hice un estilo cut crease con dorado – Tenía tiempo que no usaba este color, así que estoy bastante contenta con el resultado.

Tengo una nueva cámara – Canon Rebel T3 – y es mi primera cámara profesional. Aprendí a como usarla en la universidad durante este semestre, pero aún no la termino de controlar, ella me controla a mi🙈
