Nails – Chrome Nail Polish with Mirror powder

I’m super excited today, because it’s my first nail post since a while ago. So, today I wanted to talk about the trend of the moment: Chrome nails with mirror powder.

The process is to put a powder over a dark nail polish, or depending of the tone you want, you can use another color as a base to change the final chrome result.

As women, we love paint our nails and play with different colors. Every year, some colors are “in” and others “out”, but we always want to be on trend, and this year is not gonna be the exception.

Blue is elegant and pretty. For this year, choose a neutral blue like this Jenny Packham’s model.

Yellow is always a spring color… Strong and fun.

Hello hello

All Sundays I make my manicure, so I choose the color that I want to use and if I want something different or some neutral color.

The truth, I’m not so good painting my nails, not always my results are good and that’s what happened to me yesterday (and today).

First, I used a beautiful spearmint nail polish from Ardene. The first time that I used it looked amazing, but when I used it yesterday was a disaster and my nails looked fantastic from the distance. But today, the paint was cracked in all my nails.

Today, when I got home from school, I changed the color. I choose the Pure Ice nail polish #1063. I have used before this color and I really like it.

I decided for a negative space nail art – I’m very obsessed with this style – and I used two tip guides for make the separation between the part that I wanted paint with the part without color. These tip guides are French Polish Guides by Nailene, Designer collection. These are very good and helpful.

I didn’t make a really great job with this nail art, but i wanted to share it with you because it’s very easy to make and different.

Nail Art of the week: gunmetal + white & sky blue

Check this amazing idea

I bought a gunmetal nail polish and I have to say that it’s fantastic. It’s by Pure ICE #1063 and it only cost CA$1.29. But the best part of the nail art of this week is what my big sister Alejandra created on my nails: she took some white and sky blue little circles from the nail polish “New Year Eve” by Ardene and the result is fantastic:
